Much to the surprise of, well, everyone, Alexa Bliss regained the RAW Women's Championship from Sahsa Banks just a week after losing it at SummerSlam. On the last edition of the flagship show, Emma and Nia Jax were added to their rematch at No Mercy and thanks to Dave Meltzer and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, we now have some insight into why things have changed.

Apparently, WWE is attempting to build towards a singles match between Bliss and Jax. This is something which has been teased for a while now and it could be that Jax is finally getting close to winning the title. For now, though, WWE officials don't want Bliss and Jax to square off in a one on one match and that's why this has become a Fatal 4-Way with Emma thrown in to keep everyone else strong.

Jax hasn't received much of a push since hitting the main roster but the signs are pointing to that changing. Well, unless the plan is to have Bliss take her down so she's further established as a top star!
