To the surprise of many within the wrestling community, Bray Wyatt/The Fiend didn’t appear on either RAW or Smackdown Live this past week despite the positive buzz the former WWE Champion received over his return.
It appears that it was done for a good reason, as Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that the company opted to keep The Fiend off of television due to wanting The Fiend character to have an unpredictable aura about him. The company views the character as special, thus believes it's best to keep him from appearing every week.
There’s no news on where WWE plans on taking The Fiend character next. Balor was off of television this past week as well; however, with reports stating that the former Intercontinental Champion was set to take time off for 2-months, Balor didn’t exactly get a temporary write off from television on Sunday.
It’s possible that Wyatt and Balor have a rematch with the Fiend taking out Balor for good this time. Of course, this is just pure speculation on my end.
