When Sami Zayn returned to WWE television post-WrestleMania, the Canada native was the talk of the wrestling community after his scathing promos dressing down WWE fans. The former NXT Champion seemed primed for a big push; however, the WWE superstar would always end up losing big matches in his return run.

At WWE Stomping Grounds last month, Sami Zayn teamed with Kevin Owens to take on New Day’s Big E and Xavier Woods and the duo got the big win at the pay-per-view; however, Zayn would be abandoned by Kevin Owens two days later on Smackdown Live during their eight-man tag team match.

Since then, Zayn has disappeared from WWE television without any explanation and according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, his absence is simply due to creative having nothing for him at the moment. There’s no reported heat or injury to the RAW Superstar and officials plan on keep him off of television until the writers can find something for him to do. There’s no word on when Zayn could return.
