Backstage News On WRESTLEMANIA's Firefly Fun House Match, Including John Cena's Creative Involvement

We've never seen anything like the Firefly Fun House match on WWE TV before last night's WrestleMania, and it's now being reported that Vince McMahon was also a big fan (he also approved the "good sh*t" line which was a parody of comments made about the Chairman by All Elite Wrestling's Jox Moxley).

The WWE crew in Stamford produced the segment, and the props used came from the storage warehouse near the company's headquarters. Many ideas are said to have come directly from Bray Wyatt.

However, Dave Meltzer notes in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there were others involved from a creative standpoint too, including John Cena. "The Firefly Fun House was Bruce Prichard and Bray. There were a lot of changes made by John Cena [and] supposedly for the better. That was what was told to me."

It definitely sounds like matches like this and Saturday's Boneyard match will be something we see more of in WWE moving forward, and the company may have landed on a winning idea with this Firefly Fun House segment as it's already breathed new life into The Fiend character following his loss to Goldberg at Super ShowDown.

What did you guys think of this match?
