Baron Corbin Responds To Fan Who Says He Should Have Been Released Instead Of Braun Strowman

Baron Corbin is far from WWE's most popular Superstar, but he's definitely improved greatly in recent years. Needless to say, he had some thoughts to share when a fan said they wish he'd been released...

Aside from the fact he negotiated a massive $1 million a year deal in 2019, no one can really figure out why WWE released Braun Strowman. He's always been loyal to the company and has even said that he wouldn't consider wrestling for anyone else (we'll see if he sticks to that 90 days from now).

Needless to say, a lot of fans are really upset that the Monster Among Men is no longer with WWE, and one recently vented their frustrations on the always divisive Baron Corbin.

After his lengthy run as an authority figure (which has been blamed for RAW's ratings decline), he retired Kurt Angle and now portrays the arrogant King Corbin character. Fans have a lot of reasons not to like Corbin, but he's talented, and someone WWE is clearly pretty invested in.

As you might expect, when this fan said they wish he had been replaced instead of Strowman, the former United States Champion wasted no time in issuing a response. "I’ll never understand this," he says in the Tweet below. "What is wrong with you wanting someone else to be fired? Nobody should ever want some one to lose their job and livelihood."

We can't argue with that, and it's worth remembering that all these Superstars are now unemployed when the wrestling business is still struggling to rebound thanks to the pandemic.
