Bayley Gets By With A Little Help From Her Friend To Retain The SMACKDOWN Women's Title At MITB

Bayley is still SmackDown Women's Champion after seeing off Tamina at the Money in the Bank PPV. Of course, she had a lot of help from Sasha Banks.

The match was okay. Tamina is very limited in the ring. What she can do she does reasonably well, but she still goes up to the top rope to hit that godawful splash from time to time and winds up looking like a baby deer on a frozen lake. Last night, her attempt at "going for the splash" involved her gingerly hopping down from the turnbuckle so Bayley could slowly put her feet up to counter the devastating... step.

Anyway, other parts of the bout were fine, as Bayley is at the top of her game and has evolved into a compelling heel champion.

In the end, Tamina hit her Samoan Drop and decided not to go for the pin because The Boss entered the ring, allowing her opponent to counter another Samoan Drop attempt and keep the Polynesian Powerhouse down with a backslide pin.
