Bayley put the SmackDown Women's Championship on the line against Sasha Banks, Naomi, Tamina, and Lacey Evans in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination match at WrestleMania, and ultimately managed to walk out of the Show of Shows with her title.
Tamina was the first to be eliminated, but it took some doing, as the other four women in the match had to hit a number of moves and pin her at the same time to eliminate her from this Fatal 5-Way match! Despite an impressive showing, Naomi was next after Bayley and Banks managed to overpower her, and the latter locked in the Banks Statement to make the babyface tap out.
The heels proceeded to double team Lacey Evans, but Bayley inadvertently knocked Banks out of the ring and that led to the two "best friends" nearly coming to blows. However, thanks to the distraction, Evans hit the Woman's Right on The Boss for the 1-2-3, making this a singles match between Evans and Bayley!
Tying Evans to the corner, Bayley gained the upper hand, but the Sassy Southern Belle would deliver an amazing performance and come extremely close to winning the title. Unfortunately, Banks hit the ring and helped Bayley retain, but the stage is clearly being set for these two so-called friends to square off somewhere down the line.
