Chris Jericho, Corey Graves, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair have all felt the wrath of ‘The Man’ on social media, and now we can add former six-time women’s champion Mickie James' name to the list.
It all started when James took the first shot at the Smackdown Live superstar for calling herself 'The Man':
Of course, Lynch wasn’t going to let that slide and took a personal shot at Mickie by stating,
“Not the first time she’s come after the top star to further her career”.
This is seemingly a reference to Mickie James dating former multi-time world champion John Cena. The RAW Superstar talked about her relationship with Cena previously on Lilian Garcia’s ‘Making Their Way To The Ring’ podcast:
“We’re all adults, and you know obviously this business is what it is, and we’ve all had our share of relationships failed. I think that being adults and being professionals… It’s such a tight-knit thing, that’s the reason why so many people in the industry fall in love in the first place, because you see each other every day, you hang out with each other, you don’t get a chance to… make any type of outside life.
We’re all grown adults and I would hope that, and I’m pretty sure that it’s going to be pretty awesome, because I’m sure that I’m going to have to work with Nikki in the ring and I know that we could do some really amazing stuff.”
James simply responded by laughing off the post and expressing disappointment in Lynch’s response:
