Both Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch could very well walk out of SummerSlam as the Women's Champions of their respective brands and if they still hold the titles when Survivor Series rolls around, there's a very good chance we'll see these two face off in the squared circle. It would be an interesting match, especially as they both utilise an armbar as their finishing manoeuvres in the ring.
During a recent interview, Lynch said she has an idea about how she would beat Rousey and that would be to use the former UFC competitor's patented armbar against her to make her tap out.
"I would beat her with an armbar," Lynch said in an extremely confident manner recently. "It would be armbar vs armbar. Ronda is here and man, can we just take a second to appreciate how wonderful she’s doing? Man, she is an unbelievable athlete. She’s an Olympian. Woman’s MMA wouldn’t be where it is today without her and all her success and all she’s done."
"She has taken like a duck to water in our ring and she’s such a Superstar across the world so that’s why I look at her as a slot machine, right? The harder I harder I kick her, the more money that will fall out so it’s gonna be better for me." That's definitely fighting talk and it will be interesting seeing if Rousey has a response. For now, though, she'll have to get through Alexa Bliss.
