Becky Lynch Cuts A Terrific Heel Promo On SMACKDOWN LIVE, But Is Still Cheered By The Crowd

It's been well documented that Becky Lynch turned heel at SummerSlam, and tonight on SmackDown the Lass Kicker attempted to cement her status as a bad guy. Unfortunately, the crowd was having none of it!

Just in case it wasn't already very clear that Becky Lynch was a heel now, the Irish Lass Kicker cut a powerful promo tonight on SmackDown LIVE, blaming the WWE Universe for not supporting her during her rise back to the title picture.

Of course, the fans were behind Becky all the way, and still are!

Lynch's heel promo did not have the desired effect, and when Charlotte Flair came out to get even with her former best friend for attacking her after their match at SummerSlam, the crowd still cheered for "Becky Balboa."

It'll be interesting to see how WWE handles this situation, but the most likely scenario will see them do... nothing. If Roman Reigns' main event push has proved one thing, it's that Vince McMahon is nothing if not stubborn!
