There had been a lot of speculation online that Becky Lynch might make her WWE return during SummerSlam, and with Sasha Banks mysteriously absent from the PPV, it seemed like a given.
Of course, it was hard not to be a little disappointed when Carmella made her way to the ring as SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair's new opponent, especially as that's another match we've seen happen a lot on TV lately. However, it was with that "The Man" came back to town, taking out Carmella and defeating Belair in a squash match that's divided opinions online.
It's exciting to have Lynch back, though, and WWE's Kayla Braxton caught up with Lynch after her title win to ask what that moment was like for her.
Lynch's response? "The Man is back, and it feels good." She then walked off, and something tells us we'll be waiting until SmackDown to hear something a little more definitive from the fan-favourite WWE Superstar who was forced to relinquish the RAW Women's Championship shortly after announcing her pregnancy last year.
