Speculation has been mounting that Becky Lynch might be set to make her long-awaited return to the WWE, and several reliable reports are now doing the rounds that "The Man" was spotted backstage during last night's episode of SmackDown.

Apparently, Lynch was seen along with NXT Champion Karrion Kross and North American Champion Bronson Reed, who were there to participate in dark matches.

Lynch has been training hard following the birth of her and Seth Rollins' daughter, Roux, and many feel that it's only a matter of time before she returns to television. The general consensus seems to be that Vince McMahon wants to wait until live crowds are back to re-debut some of the company's biggest starts such as John Cena and Brock Lesnar, and if that is the case, expect Lynch to fall into that same category.

We have no idea how Becky will be utilized upon her return, but there is speculation that she'll be brought back in as a dominant female heel on Raw in the same vein as Roman Reigns on SmackDown. Whether the fans actually allow the mega-popular Superstar to operate as a villain (they didn't last time) remains to be seen.
