The Smackdown Tag Team Title match is set for Money in the Bank.
Since Big E. won the straps in a wild Triple Threat match involving Jey Uso and The Miz following WrestleMania 36, new tag teams have stepped up and promised to become the new Smackdown champs very soon.
This past Friday, The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake) defeated the Smackdown Tag Team champs clean in the middle of the ring. Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik also made a statement on the blue brand as well, with The Lucha House Party members beating former champs The Miz and John Morrison.
Now, all four teams will meet for the Smackdown Tag Team titles on May 10 at Money in the Bank. Being eight-time WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston and Big E. are no strangers to facing big challenges; however, The Forgotten Sons and Lucha House Party have been making a name for themselves recently. Will the champs be able to overcome the odds at the pay-per-view?
