Billie Kay And Peyton Royce, The IIconics, Forced To Disband As A Tag Team On RAW

This week's episode of Raw wasn't a particularly eventful one, but we did see The IIconics, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, disband after spending the better part of 10 years as a tag team...

You gotta be joking me!

The IIconics are now more, as Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were forced to disband as a tag team during this week's episode of Raw.

The Aussie duo faced The Riott Squad in a match to determine the first challengers for new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax, but the stipulation meant that the losing tandem must break up (because there are way too many tag teams in the women's division... apparently). After a nothing back-and-forth match, Ruby was able to pin Royce and pick up the win for her team, leaving The IIconics devatatsed in the ring.

Later in the night, Kay and Royce showed up to watch the action at Raw Underground, and the latter seemingly turned hell (well, turned heelER?) on her former partner by throwing her to the proverbial wolves and ensuring a stiff beatdown from Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke.

The IIconics were one of the more established, popular and entertaining duos in the women's tag-team division, so of course they had to be broken up. This may lead to a decent feud between the two, but we wouldn't hold our breaths.
