Former Women's Tag Team Champion Billie Kay was among 10 Superstars released by WWE earlier this month, and that means The IIconics are no more. Peyton Royce also ended up being fired by the company, so chances are both women will work together again before too long.
In the meantime, they're under a 90-day non-compete clause, and won't be free to wrestle elsewhere until July 14th. Now, though, we know that Billie will be using the name "Jessie McKay" moving forward (her real name is Jessica McKay, so this is obviously a spin on that, something that's becoming commonplace with many wrestlers these days).
Lee applied to trademark "Jessie McKay" with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) through trademark attorney Michael E. Dockins.
Here is the description for the trademarks:
G & S: Hats; Leggings; Shirts; Socks; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts
G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.
Needless to say, we're excited to see what McKay does next...
