Bobby Lashley recently decided against renewing his WWE contract, quietly leaving the company despite being one of its top stars for a time.

Triple H didn't appear to have anything serious planned for the former WWE Champion beyond an alliance with B-Fab and The Street Profits. Recently, The All Mighty came under fire for praising Vince McMahon (following sexual misconduct allegations) while discussing his lack of chemistry with The Game.

Talking on The Bo and Them Show, Lashley clarified those remarks by explaining, "I said something where I had more of a relationship with Vince than Triple H, and everybody was going after me. Vince did this and Triple H did this. It was a very simple, innocent comment. When Vince was here, I had more conversations with him."

"I don’t know what anybody does in their personal life. And where I work, that’s what I concentrate on. And when we were there, Vince was always trying to pull a different side of me," he continued. "So there were different things I did at that time when I was in the wrestling business when Vince was in charge."

Lashley added, "What Vince told me was I want to see different layers of you. He was like, 'Man, there’s so much more to you, so I want to make you feel uncomfortable on TV so that we can get those different layers.' So I had a different relationship with Vince. When Triple H came on, we didn’t really get a chance to sit down. He didn’t get a chance to get to know me."

As for what comes next for the former WWE Superstar, it appears he's open to anything and everything. "I’m doing it all," he said. "You only live once. I have a lot of gas left in the tank. I’m in great shape. I feel good. I’m motivated, I’m rested."

"Wrestling, yes. Boxing, yes. MMA, yes. Acting, yes. Everything, yes. I have a lot of different things going on right now. My non-profit, working with kids. I love doing that and working with kids. I want to give back," Lashley noted. "I do a lot of real estate. I’ve been linking with some real estate professionals [in Texas] to bring some of my properties here and doing work here."

"Wrestling, I still want to wrestle. I love wrestling. The fans are writing me every day, ‘When are you coming back? Where are you going? We want to be there for you.’ I love the fans."

There's been some speculation about The Hurt Business reuniting in AEW, though whether that will happen remains to be seen.

Lashley remains a popular wrestler and a legit tough guy given his MMC background; whether he'd fit into that company and its very non-WWE style is also hard to say.

Stay tuned for updates as we have them.
