Bobby Lashley Finally Took Roman Reigns Down At EXTREME RULES With A Wicked Spear

The rivalry between Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns has been the focal point of RAW for weeks now but things finally came to a head at Extreme Rules last night and the match's victor may surprise you...

It's fair to say that we all expected Roman Reigns to beat Bobby Lashley at Extreme Rules last night, especially as rumours have been swirling that The Big Dog will be the one who takes the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam next month. However, things didn't end well for Roman after all because "Bob" managed to take his opponent down with a nasty looking Spear.

Whether or not this means he's now WWE's new Big Dog remains to be seen but the signs certainly appear to be pointing to Lashley receiving a pretty significant push from WWE officials now.

You have to believe that Vince McMahon probably isn't overly pleased about Lesnar returning to UFC so having a former MMA fighter like Lashley (who was nowhere near as successful) defeat him wouldn't be a bad way to rib The Beast on his way out the door! We'll have to wait and see but this match certainly wasn't the best on the card, so here's hoping that will be it for the foreseeable.
