BOOM! Studios has announced that their WWE comic book series is coming to an end. The last issue was #25 and that put the spotlight on the likes as Asuka, Charlotte Flair, AJ Styles, and Samoa Joe.

An official reason for the cancellation hasn't been revealed but an email sent to subscribers says, "The WWE series has come to an end with issue #25. You may request to have your remaining issues transferred to another active subscription series or receive a refund. Please respond to this email to let us know which option you prefer."

The first issue was released in January 2017 and the point of the comics was to expand on key moments in WWE history. Ultimately, though, it doesn't seem like that's something fans were interested in, especially when they already have five hours (six, if you could NXT) of WWE TV to watch a week.

Did you guys check out any of these WWE comic books? If so, what did you think?
