Shortly before Monday's episode of RAW went on the air, there was a very unexpected title change. NBA star Enes Kanter managed to defeat R-Truth for the 24/7 Championship but his reign didn't last more than a few seconds as Truth quickly rolled him up to regain the title. 

Kanter received boos from fans in Madison Square Garden because he was wearing a Boston Celtics jersey. Needless to say, it's easy enough to see why this segment wasn't aired.

The 24/7 title has never been taken that seriously but it's clear now that it is just a gimmick used for laughs. In fairness, it's been used in a lot of very entertaining segments and given Superstars like R-Truth and Drake Maverick the chance to shine.
