We're going to see both the WWE and Raw Women's Championships defended next Monday night... but don't get too excited.
As hard to believe as it may be, Dolph Ziggler is actually getting another shot at Drew McIntyre's title after getting his head Claymore kicked off at Extreme Rules - despite choosing a stipulation that gave him every advantage. Last night, The Showoff practically begged Drew for another match, telling him that he could pick the stip this time. McIntyre accepted, because WWE clearly hasn't decided on his SummerSlam opponent yet.
In addition, Asuka will face Sasha Banks with the Raw Women's Championship on the line. Although The Boss "won" the title at Extreme Rules, Stephanie McMahon appeared via video link to point out the obvious (Bayley is not an official WWE referee), and made this match. This time, the new champ can be determined by count-out, DQ, or outside interference.
Asuka and Banks tore the house down at the PPV, so we're all for another bout... even if there shouldn't be any question that The Empress of Tomorrow is still champion. Dolph and Drew again? Sorry, no interest in obvious filler when we should have a legitimate No. 1 contender in the buildup to SummerSlam.
