Following a tremendous no-disqualification tag team match on SmackDown Live, The New Day are once again the SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
This marks their 5th reign as champions. As most know by now, they also hold the record for the longest Tag Team Championship reign in WWE history. This is also the second time The New Day has won the Tag Team Championship in Brooklyn New York as their second championship reign, which happened to be the historic one, began at SummerSlam 2015 in WWE's first Summer voyage to the Barclay's Center
Author's POV: I like this move. Rumor has it that Eric Rowan was injured but I like the New Day a lot more as an act then I do the Bludgeon Brothers. I hope that they can breathe some life into this stale tag team scene.
