Braun Strowman Comments On Brock Lesnar Punching Him During Their ROYAL RUMBLE Triple Threat Match
One of the biggest talking points of the Royal Rumble PPV was Brock Lesnar legit punching Braun Strowman full-force in the side of the head, and The Monster Among Men has now addressed it during an interview...
During the triple-treat Universal Championship match at the Royal Rumble, Braun Strowman got a little overeager and delivered an inadvertent knee to the side of Brock Lesnar's face. Never one to miss an opportunity for violence, The Beast delivered a devastating receipt in the form of a punch that almost took The Monster Among Men off his feet.
Despite this, the rest of the match went off without a hitch and there were no reports of bad blood between the two after.
During an interview with The UK's Daily Star (boo, hiss), Strowman was asked about the incident, and gave he most Braun Strowman answer imaginable:
“Any time Brock and I are in the ring it’s very physical. You’re talking about two larger-than-life human beings who are fighting for dominance. Stuff happens. “It’s a contact sport – it’s not tennis. We’re not going out there to slap a ball around, we’re going out there to beat each other up. That’s what we did.”
Okay, but it's only supposed to look like you're beating each other up Braun!
Anyway, that's probably the most anyone will get out of him on the matter. Hopefully Lesnar is more forthcoming when he's inevitably quizzed about the same thing.
