Well, can we now officially say that Kevin Owens has heat backstage? While some fans suspected that the former Universal Champion might actually steal Braun Strowman's Money in the Bank briefcase from him, it turns out that he never had a chance because he managed to get in a total of one offensive move during a match which lasted only a few minutes as Owens was completely squashed.

Strowman absolutely destroyed his opponent, beating him up outside the ring before finishing Owens off with a single Powerslam. And with that, he managed to remain the Monster in the Bank!

We'll bring you details on whether or not he cashed in a little later today but it definitely appears as if this feud was meant to build Strowman up while simultaneously burying Owens. Whether or not he'll be able to recover obviously remains to be seen but things aren't looking good after SummerSlam, that's for sure. What do you guys think? As always, share your thoughts on that in the usual place.
