We had heard that tonight's episode of Raw would have major Royal Rumble ramifications, and sure enough, the show kicked-off with Braun Strowman being stripped of his Universal Championship opportunity against Brock Lesnar at the upcoming PPV.
Raw began with McMahon arriving in his limo, and that same vehicle wound up being destroyed by The Monster Among Men when he was trying to get his hands on Baron Corbin, who was hiding inside. When an enraged Vince then discovered the damage, he fined Braun $100K and removed him from the Rumble title match.
We're not sure why the match was actually altered, but it might have something to do with Strowman still not being medically cleared to compete.
