Braun Strowman recently caught up with Sports Illustrated and made it clear that he intends to headline
WrestleMania one day. After talking about being part of a comedic tag team match a couple of years ago (with a ten year old) and then this year's Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal with some of the stars of Saturday Night Live, the Monster Among Men is clearly ready for something bigger.
"I will main event WrestleMania," Strowman declared. "Hopefully more than once on my way to a Hall of Fame career. I'll start with a main event against Drew McIntyre, and I'll tell you who will win: me." It's interesting that he would choose the Scottish Psychopath and WWE could definitely deliver a great main event with those two providing it had the right build.
Strowman went on to talk about never having held a singles title in WWE. "[It's] not a necessity right now. I don't need something to boost my character. I get some of the biggest reactions out of anyone just walking out because of my sheer size and ability. It would be cool, but I'm here for the long haul and I have many, many more years of WWE in me. There's plenty of time."
It will definitely be interesting seeing what the future holds in store for Strowman and it's good that he has big plans. Whether WWE will pay attention to those obviously remains to be seen for now.
