Bray Wyatt was released by WWE last year, and all eyes remain on what the former Fiend does next. He's certainly not rushing into making an in-ring return, but it was recently revealed that one of the "MyCareer" mode storylines in WWE 2K22 was set to follow Dana Brooke aligning herself with Wyatt to becoming "The Shiend" ahead of a feud with Alexa Bliss.
That was going to culminate in a Hell in a Cell match between Bliss and Brooke, though it would have been a gimmick bout similar to when The Fiend faced Seth Rollins.
Dialogue was recorded for that, and there's been a lot of chatter online that this was going to be based on an actual RAW storyline. After all, Wyatt split with Bliss during last year's WrestleMania, and it would have made sense for him to find a new ally in order to take revenge on his one-time ally.
As you can see below, however, Wyatt has confirmed this was specifically an angle for WWE 2K22 and not something planned for television. It actually sounds like a fun storyline, so why are we not surprised it isn't something WWE's creative team actually came up with for Monday nights?
Wyatt hasn't signed with another company yet, while Bliss has been missing from television following her recent return, likely because fans rejected her coming back with the same gimmick.
