Bray Wyatt's gimmick as The Fiend has definitely divided wrestling fans, though most can agree that the way WWE has booked his latest persona really hasn't been the best, especially as time has passed.
After all, he went from being pretty much invincible (which, in itself, was a mistake in the pro wrestling world) to losing to Randy Orton at WrestleMania following a single RKO. Now, it's been several months since we last saw Bray on television, and rumours continue to persist about what the plan is for him when he does finally step back between the ropes.
Right now, it seems WWE's priority is to keep the spotlight on Alexa Bliss, but there are plans to bring Wyatt back to RAW at some point in the next couple of months.
In an interesting tidbit from Dave Meltzer in a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it's suggested that Wyatt is a strong possibility for Bobby Lashley's next feud (assuming he's able to overcome the challenge from Kofi Kingston at Money in the Bank later this month).
"The RAW brand doesn’t have any challenger set up but they can always elevate Randy Orton, or really anyone if they so choose," he explains. "Bray Wyatt and Bill Goldberg are always on the bench and the idea is an all top hands on deck show."
Meltzer is referring to SummerSlam there, and it's no secret WWE is looking to make that one of the biggest shows they've ever done. While Money in the Bank will take place in front of fans, that's being eyed as a WrestleMania-sized event, with one possible match being Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. John Cena.
