Earlier today, we brought you details on plans for Roman Reigns to be a heel in WWE moving forward, with the current plan for The Big Dog to win the Universal Championship during this Sunday's Payback PPV. Big changes are clearly being made to the blue brand as a result of this, and it seems one is also in store for Bray Wyatt/The Fiend.
According to PW Insider, with Braun Strowman now established as a heel again, the decision has been made to have Wyatt become SmackDown's top babyface star.
Coming out of Payback, WrestlingNews.co notes that Wyatt and Reigns will continue to feud over the title, with The Fiend chasing it down over the next couple of months. It also appears as if Alexa Bliss will end up getting involved as she had a pretty bizarre reaction to Wyatt's name being mentioned by Nikki Cross during last night's show.
WWE has seemingly finally pegged on to the fact that fans want to boo - and eventually cheer - a badass Reigns, while everyone has been behind The Fiend for a while now. How this will pan out (and whether they can pull it off) obviously remains to be seen for now.
