John Cena proposed to Nikki Bella at last year's WrestleMania but following the news that their engagement has been called off, the gossip rags are having a field day attempting to figure out what led to their split. One recent report attempted to shed some light on how Nikki's twin sister Brie feels about the whole thing and claimed that the former Divas Champion wants to kill the WWE Superstar.

However, in a recent Instagram story, Brie has made it clear that she doesn't feel that way and surprisingly chose to refer to Cena "like a brother" and mentioned that "he'll always be family."

That points to the breakup being somewhat amicable and those reports about Cena breaking things off to focus on his Hollywood aspirations not being entirely accurate. It's hard to say for sure and frankly none of our business but here's hoping they're both able to move on from this and be happy.
