US President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently announced plans to close the border between their two countries, and while trade isn't expected to be affected, people will be unable to cross until the COVID-19 outbreak has (hopefully) been resolved.
What does that mean for WWE Champion Brock Lesnar? The Beast lives in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, and The Wrestling Observer Radio is now reporting that the belief is that Lesnar will be able to travel into the United States for his upcoming RAW and WrestleMania appearances. Nothing is guaranteed, of course, but it sounds like WWE could pull some strings given his celebrity status.
Unfortunately, the Observer notes that "lesser names" like The Singh Brothers could be affected. They're stuck in Vancouver, and getting to work now isn't going to be easy moving forward.
It will definitely be interesting seeing if this does have an impact on upcoming WWE shows, as it will be a disaster if Lesnar can't defend the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre.
