The fans wanted Braun, but they got Brock... again.
Before the match between The Beast and The Monster Among Men could even get underway at Crown Jewel, Baron Corbin hit Strowman in the back of the neck with the title belt, and from there it was only a matter of time.
Brock hit Braun with a series of F5s, including one over the rope to the floor, but he still couldn't put The Monster away. Finally, after hitting his his finisher for the sixth time, Lesnar pinned his opponent to become the new Universal Champion.
Unexpected, perhaps, but unwelcome? Well, Lesnar held onto the title for far too long during his last reign in many people's eyes, so this will probably get a bit of backlash. Then again, at least it sets up what could be an awesome feud!
