We're now just days away from SummerSlam taking place, and last night's episode of RAW saw Brock Lesnar waste no time in making his way to the ring. After introducing himself in a very Paul Heyman-inspired promo, Lesnar said he's getting paid to go to SummerSlam to fight Cody Rhodes.

However, according to The Beast, Rhodes is getting paid to go to SummerSlam and get his ass kicked.

Many fans have speculated that Lesnar's introduction and comments are an indication he's been enlisted by Heyman to take out the American Nightmare. He's yet to provide a reason for why he attacked Rhodes, and the feud has meant Cody has been unable to go after Roman Reigns' Undisputed WWE Universal Championship!

While time will tell on that front, The Beast eventually demanded that Cody Rhodes come out to the ring and shake his hand.

He did so, but after Brock shoved his way past him, Rhodes hit a dive to the outside of the ring and a fight ensued which ended with Lesnar gaining the upper hand. The heel hit his SummerSlam opponent with the steel steps and then left him lying in the ring after delivering a brutal F5.

In anticipation of the match taking place, WWE has also released one of its best video packages in recent memories teasing Rhodes vs. Lesnar III at the upcoming PLE.

Check out some highlights from RAW below along with that incredible hype video.
