Elimination Chamber in the rearview, and WWE is now on the Road to WrestleMania. With WWE Champion Brock Lesnar set to clash with Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the Show of Shows, both Superstars closed out last night's episode of SmackDown with a good old-fashioned contract signing. However, you'd best believe that things quickly fell apart!
As WWE security watched on, Lesnar made it clear he plans to beat the Head of the Table on the Grandest Stage of Them All, though Paul Heyman told The Beast he won't be making it to WrestleMania with his title. Why not? Well, Lesnar has to face a mystery opponent at a Madison Square Garden house show on March 5, and it sounds like that will be one to keep an eye on.
After both parties signed the contract to make the WrestleMania match official, Reigns, Heyman, and The Usos took their leave, only for those "security guards" to close in on Lesnar. The Beast, however, decimated them as a shocked and horrified Reigns watched on from the ramp.
You can see some highlights from that below, though it's worth noting that WWE is now touting this Champion vs. Champion match as a "Winner Take All Championship Unification" match. In other words, it appears the company will have only one world champion following this year's WrestleMania...
