Brock Lesnar is set to face Omos at WrestleMania (you can thank Vince McMahon, apparently), but it's now come to light that WWE did consider having him go up against Bray Wyatt... until The Beast shot the idea down!

A couple of weeks ago on SmackDown, Wyatt indicated that he'd be challenging the winner of the Lesnar vs. Bonny Lashley match at Elimination Chamber, and a feud with the Almighty now seems to be brewing.

However, Fightful.com has heard that Brock vs. Bray was originally floated.

Why Lesnar wasn't interested is unclear, but there's a decent chance Wyatt was going to go over, which may not have sat particularly well. It's also entirely possible that Brock simply isn't into the Eater of Worlds' supernatural shtick.

Whatever the reason, Brock is in a position where he can pretty much pick and choose his opponents, so he clearly wanted to take on the Nigerian Giant. Hey, maybe the big man bout will be more entertaining that most fans seem to be expecting? All 7 minutes of it!
