Surprising no-one, Brock Lesnar managed to retain the WWE Championship at Survivor Series after a short, but exciting No Holds Barred encounter with Rey Mysterio.

The Beast was as dominant as you'd expect, taking Rey to Suplex City and wearing down the legendary luchador with powerful strikes until his son Dominic rushed the ring and attempted to throw in the towel. It was all a ruse, however, as Rey hit Brock with a low blow (followed by one from Dominic) and proceeded to go to work with that metal pipe.

Mysterio and Dominic - who has been training to be a wrestler for a while now - then hit a dual 619 and a pair of Frog Splashes for a near fall, but Brock powered out and caught Rey with a top-rope splash attempt to git a devastating F-5 for the win.

Most of us hoped to see Rey win the title here, but knew deep down that it was a long shot.
