Brock Lesnar Retains WWE Title At CROWN JEWEL But It Looks Like Rey Mysterio Will Be His Next Challenger

Crown Jewel kicked off with Brock Lesnar defending the WWE Championship against Cain Velasquez in a much-hyped rematch from their UFC fight way back when. Things kicked off with a brawl between the two men and things played out very much like an MMA fight.

However, Lesnar locked in the Kimura Lock out of nowhere and Cain tapped out for what proved to be a quick win for The Beast. He kept the submission locked in after the bell rang and that led to Rey Mysterio getting into the ring with a steel chair. Lesnar turned the tide, of course, and beat up both men before Rey used a chair to even the odds and send him packing.

Lesnar made his way up the ramp and swore that he'd get revenge on Mysterio but it's hard to say how that will happen considering the fact Lesnar is on SmackDown and Mysterio has been drafted to RAW (one of the more baffling decisions WWE has made in recent months).

What did you guys think of this opening match?
