It was a shocking development in the main event of night one of WWE WrestleMania 41 on Saturday, April 19, 2025 as Paul Heyman betrayed his best friend, CM Punk, as well as his Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, to help Seth Rollins win the Triple Threat match.
Capping off tonight's Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania, Heyman and Rollins had an in-ring promo to talk about the situation—mostly to just gloat and soak in the boos from the audience, rather than say much of impact.
An angry CM Punk charged the ring, looking to get a measure of revenge on both of them, falling short of that goal considerably as The Visionary put him down with a stomp.
Heyman declared Rollins to be the reigning, defending, undisputed No. 1 top star in the professional wrestling business right now, which then triggered Roman Reigns to come out to try to get his payback.
The Tribal Chief temporarily had the upper hand, spearing Rollins and knocking his former Wise Man down with a Superman Punch. However, he was taken out with a spear out of nowhere from a hooded man, who revealed himself to be Bron Breakker.
The Unpredictable Badass has one of the best spears in the game (if not the best right now), and he followed his tackle on Reigns with another spear to Punk, who had begun to stir and was looking for more of a fight.
This is when Breakker was embraced by Rollins and Heyman, forming a new faction going forward to end the show.
As expected given the cliffhanger, nothing was revealed as far as a name for this group, Breakker's motivations for joining, or how long this was planned out. There's your hook for next week's episode, or at least this coming Friday Night SmackDown.
These heel turns are among the many things freshening up the roster at the moment, following Becky Lynch's return to action and heel turn on Lyra Valkyria, Rusev's return to WWE, and of course, seeing John Cena as the villainous top world champion in the company, which should make for an interesting new season now that the post-WrestleMania reset is in effect.
What do you think about Bron Breakker joining Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman? Do you have any ideas of names they could call this faction? Where does this all go? Drop your theories, predictions, and other thoughts in the comments below to keep the discussion going!
