Bronson Reed looks like a completely different man ahead of his WWE return. The Vision member took to social media yesterday to share a new gym selfie, and fans have been left stunned by his dramatically leaner and more muscular physique.
Reed has clearly spent much of his time away from WWE working on his body, with the 37-year-old looking noticeably slimmer and considerably more ripped.
It's an especially impressive transformation given that Reed has been sidelined with a torn biceps suffered during a February episode of RAW. He underwent surgery and subsequently began the long road back to the ring, previously promising fans that he would return "better than ever." Judging by this latest update, he wasn't kidding.
The image has sparked plenty of discussion among WWE fans, with many wondering whether this new physique could point to a new presentation when the "Auzilla" eventually returns. Gunther underwent a similar transformation, and he's now a top star responsible for retiring the likes of John Cena and WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg.
"My top two of all time, Kenta Kobashi from Japan and Stone Cold Steve Austin, they’re always on there," Reed previously said of his Mount Rushmore of wrestling. "Then the other two sort of fluctuate, but usually a third is Dusty Rhodes. I was just a huge fan of Dusty Rhodes. I feel like he could do everything, wrestle, promo, everything."
"He also was another big guy that, yeah, people don’t realise, like he was 300 pounds and he was moving around in there, like, yeah."
Asked what he's learned from Paul Heyman, Reed added, "I think it’s how to present myself in the ring. I’ve always wrestled a certain way and for a big man, but there’s even more I can do with my size and to make myself look different. He’s always looking for something that’s different, and just his promo work is ridiculous. I’ll go to him about a promo, and he’ll just cut a promo off of his head, and it’s like, the best promo I’ve ever heard."
If Reed really does return looking anything like this when he steps back into the ring, WWE may have one of its most physically imposing stars ready to make an even bigger impact than he has in the past. Whether his new look will be accompanied by an equally significant push remains to be seen.
