Well, we can now add Buddy Murphy to the list of names not appearing at this year's WrestleMania.
It's been a while since we've seen him on RAW anyway, but PW Insider is now reporting that while he was scheduled for the RAW tapings scheduled for this past week, he was "not cleared to appear" either at those or the WrestleMania tapings for the two-night PPV which will hail from the WWE Performance Center and a number of other undisclosed locations.
There's no word on why he wasn't cleared, but it could be that he's suspected of having COVID-19. If so, we obviously wish him a speedy recovery, but bear in mind that's pure speculation.
Now, he joins a long list of Superstars who won't be appearing for WWE in the foreseeable future, including Roman Reigns, Andrade, The Miz, Dana Brooke, and Rey Mysterio. It's a bizarre situation, but WWE is pushing forward and clearly insistent that the Show of Shows must go on.
Are you guys excited for WrestleMania?
