Cain Velasquez made his WWE debut during the premiere episode of SmackDown on FOX when he confronted Brock Lesnar and it's fair to say that, for the most part, fans weren't impressed. The same could be said following Crown Jewel where he was quickly defeated by WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.

Well, while it's thought that he still needs knee surgery, the former UFC Champion still appeared at WWE's live event in Mexico City this past Saturday for an unexpected tag team match.

He was previously advertised to team up with Rey Mysterio but WWE cancelled that (adding further fuel to the fire that he's injured). However, he did end up competing alongside Humberto Carrillo against The O.C. in a bout which saw them pick up the win over Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

This marks his first win in WWE but time will tell whether he's able to make an impact on television and get fans behind him. As always, we'll keep you guys updated as we learn more.
