During an interview with The Sun in the UK, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez has confirmed that he will enter this year's Royal Rumble match. As you might expect, he's planning to take out Brock Lesnar after the WWE Champion managed to defeat him at Crown Jewel.

"I can win it, hell yeah, that’s my mentality for everything," Velasquez said. "For everyone as well, that is how your mentality has to be. I’m going in to win this thing."

If he were to win the match, that would obviously set the stage for a rematch between Lesnar and Velasquez at WrestleMania but it doesn't really appear to be something fans want to see. Velasquez didn't make a particularly big splash with his WWE debut and it doesn't seem unfair to say that fans haven't really missed him these past few months.

It will definitely be interesting seeing him come face to face with Lesnar again, though, and the match is now starting to fill up. Stay tuned for updates.
