The New York Post recently caught up with Cain Velasquez to discuss a number of issues, including his in-ring style. On the independent scene, we've seen him use a Lucha Libre style of wrestling but it's hard to imagine that factoring into his WWE Championship match with Brock Lesnar.
"I think in the future for me when I get a little more comfortable with this is to incorporate everything, everything that you can do in combat sports, the MMA, the WWE style of wrestling and also adding the lucha in there as well," he explained.
As for the possibility that he could win the WWE Championship and his WWE future beyond that, Velasquez chose his words carefully despite being signed to a multi-year deal. In fact, he confirmed that he's taking a "wait-and-see approach" to the possibility that he could be a regular Superstar on RAW or SmackDown or a special attraction like Lesnar.
"I think the more I get comfortable with this, the more you’ll see me," he concluded.
