A Fatal 4-Way No. 1 contenders match main evented SmackDown this week, with Carmella, Naomi, Dana Brooke and Alexa Bliss doing battle for the opportunity to take on Bayley for the Women's Championship at Super ShowDown.
Naomi dominated much of the match and was the clear fan-favorite to win, but after hitting the Rear View on Bliss and going for the pin, Carmella slipped in the back door with a superkick and stole the victory.
After the match, Bayley rushed the ring and hit her new finisher (does she have a name for that yet?) on the Princess of Staten Island, who sold the move like she'd just had her ear flicked.
It's obviously a big deal that we're getting another women's match at a Saudi Arabia show, but don't expect a whole lot from this. It will be interesting to see if Carmella wears a glittery burka, though.
