It's been revealed today that Cassandra Lee McIntosh (Cassie Lee), better known as Peyron Royce in WWE, has filed for a trademark for "The IInspiration." That appears to be the new tag team for her and Jessica McKay (Billie Kay) after their time as The IIconics in NXT and on WWE's main roster.

Both women were released by WWE earlier this year as a result of so-called "budget cuts," and we were fully expecting them to continue working as a tag team in their post-WWE careers.

The trademark that was filed on June 14 is listed as being for the following:

Goods and Services - IC 025. US 022 039. G & S: Hats; Shirts; Socks; Bandanas; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts

IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes

It's worth noting that the attorney who filed this is Micahel E. Dockins, a lawyer who represents many talents in AEW. That doesn't necessarily mean they're heading to the company, and as McIntosh is coupled up with Shawn Spears in real life, it could just be a coincidence.

The tag team would be a good fit for AEW, though, so stay tuned for updates as we have them.
