Cedric Alexander was a breakout star of the Cruiserweight Classic but he's mostly been wasted since. However, after a stint in 205 Live, he was finally brought to RAW and, well, it's only over the past few weeks that he's finally received the push he deserves.

With Paul Heyman in charge of RAW as Executive Director, we've seen a lot more of guys like Robert Roode and Ricochet and now Dave Meltzer has revealed that Cedric's push is thanks to Heyman. Apparently, he's one of the wrestlers who the former ECW owner wants to "give a slow push to the top rung" of WWE.

Alexander has stolen the show in recent weeks on Monday nights and he's now set to face AJ Styles for the United States Championship at Clash of Champions this Sunday.

Win or lose, it's clear fans are starting to get behind him.
