Cesaro Has High Hopes For SMACKDOWN LIVE Ahead Of Its Move To FOX Later This Year

Former SmackDown Tag Team Champion Cesaro has been used sparingly on the blue brand since the last Superstar Shakeup but it sounds like he's optimistic about what the future holds in store for the show. Revealing that he feels SmackDown Live is more exciting than RAW, he then weighed in on what the former's move to FOX could mean.

"For us, it’s the same. We want to be on top of both shows," Cesaro said, referring to his tag team partner Sheamus. "We were a cornerstone of Raw, we are a cornerstone of SmackDown. We are the best team, that’s what we want to prove. That’s always our goal."

"SmackDown has a lot of
potential. SmackDown, I feel, has more excitement than Raw even though Raw is always branded as the flagship show. But I think there’s a lot of excitement on SmackDown, there’s more focus on the wrestling aspect. With the new TV deal kicking in in November, I have high hopes for SmackDown."

With any luck, both Cesaro and Sheamus are going to get the chance to wrestle a little more often because they carried RAW's team division pretty much by themselves for quite some time.
