The Bar found a lot of success as a tag team but with Sheamus dealing with a career-threatening injury (if some sources are to be believed), Cesaro has now embarked on a solo career on
RAW. So far, that's been going pretty well - he even has a new entrance theme - and the Swiss Superman has now revealed how he found out about the breakup.
"See, I was traded after the Superstar Shakeup. So, I actually thought that The Bar may not have been broken up, you know? You never know! Then, all of a sudden I get a message like ‘Hey, your travel changed,’ and I’m like ‘Ah, OK yeah, guess I’m a Raw guy now!’ With the brand split, it was a clean split and we can always go back to it."
That's not the nicest way for WWE to tell a Superstar they're no longer part of a tag team but it sounds like just another day in the company!
Cesaro is definitely deserving of a singles push and he's been putting on some great matches on RAW, so here's hoping a Universal Championship shot is now somewhere in his future. As always, stay tuned for more on this as we have it.
