Cesaro Reveals How He Found Out The Bar Would Be Splitting Up Following The Superstar Shakeup

One of the casualties of this year's Superstar Shakeup was multiple tag team champions Cesaro and Sheamus, a.k.a. The Bar. Now, the Swiss Superman reveals how he found out about the end of their partnership.

The Bar found a lot of success as a tag team but with Sheamus dealing with a career-threatening injury (if some sources are to be believed), Cesaro has now embarked on a solo career on RAW. So far, that's been going pretty well - he even has a new entrance theme - and the Swiss Superman has now revealed how he found out about the breakup.

"See, I was traded after the Superstar Shakeup. So, I actually thought that The Bar may not have been broken up, you know? You never know! Then, all of a sudden I get a message like ‘Hey, your travel changed,’ and I’m like ‘Ah, OK yeah, guess I’m a Raw guy now!’ With the brand split, it was a clean split and we can always go back to it."

That's not the nicest way for WWE to tell a Superstar they're no longer part of a tag team but it sounds like just another day in the company!

Cesaro is definitely deserving of a singles push and he's been putting on some great matches on RAW, so here's hoping a Universal Championship shot is now somewhere in his future. As always, stay tuned for more on this as we have it.
