In recent weeks, The Wyatt Sick6 has made a point of targeting former Alpha Academy leader Chad Gable.
WWE has taken its time revealing details about the faction we know is made up of Bo Dallas, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Nikki Cross and the last surviving original member of The Wyatt Family, Erick Rowan (who got the chance to speak in another haunting VHS video package last night).
Bo, who returned to WWE last year alongside his late brother Bray Wyatt, is Uncle Howdy and seemingly eager to reestablish The Wyatt Family. Last week, Bo was shown in RAW General Manager Adam Pearce's office and Gable wasted no time in calling him out yesterday evening.
After being rejected by the Alpha Academy, Gable hit the ring and took credit for figuring out that Dallas and Howdy are the same person (really).
Then, as Bo made his way out to the ring, he was attacked by the Creed Brothers. They and Gable delivered a brutal beatdown on the former NXT Champion, all while he laughed and said to the former Olympian, "There you are!"
With that, the rest of the Wyatt Sick6 made their way to the ring, prompting Gable and his new allies to flee in fear.
It appears the stage is being set for a feud between these two groups, though we find it hard to escape the feeling that Gable and the Creeds will be used as cannon fodder for the Wyatts.
"What I’ll say, regarding Hunter [Triple H]. When he got started with us and took over. I think you saw my trajectory change almost immediately," Gable recently said of his decision to sign a new WWE deal. "Even when I was in a tag team with Otis, I started getting singles matches with some of our top guys. To me, a light bulb went off, ‘things might be different now,’ and they have been ever since."
"He’s delivered on everything he’s ever told me. When I first came to him, and me and Otis were floundering and not doing much, he said what he was doing was trying to find consistent places on TV for everybody every week," he continued. "Whether it was a little chunk of TV or a big one; everyone should be involved at some point."
"At the time, I was like, ‘I’ve heard all this before,’ and it gets to you, but I saw it was true, and it was delivered. Even if we only had a minute or two every week, we were getting it, and we were involved in something and maximizing our minutes."
"The fact that he delivers on what he says, it has gone a long way with someone like me. Now, that’s paying off, and I’m having the run of my life, and I’m having a blast," Gable concluded.
