Chaos Backstage On Monday Night As RAW Was Being Rewritten While The Show Was On The Air

Monday night's episode of RAW was a lot of fun but it sounds like things behind the scenes weren't running quite so smoothly as the show was being rewritten while it was still on the air! Check it out...

It sounds like things were seriously chaotic behind the scenes of this Monday's episode of RAW as Dave Meltzer has now revealed new details about what WWE had planned and how things changed.

Apparently, rewrites were taking place while the show was on the air; for starters, Seth Rollins was supposed to be all over the show but those segments were cut down because of his back injury. Finn Balor, meanwhile, was supposed to wrestle Ricochet but Triple H scrapped the idea because it didn't make sense for the new Intercontinental Champion to lose a match right after winning the title.

Ronda Rousey was supposed to take on Alexa Bliss but Ruby
Riott ended up getting another shot because officials reportedly felt that would make a better match. Meltzer added that, "the actual script was not done until 30 minutes into the show, this sounds like Nitro. They were still changing the show into the second hour."

It all sounds pretty crazy but has been known to happen. Plus, it was a fun show and a definite improvement over the past couple of weeks so do we really have much to complain about?
