Chaos Ruled SMACKDOWN LIVE's Women's Division Days Before EVOLUTION's Controversial Battle Royal

Many of WWE's female Superstars have taken to social media to express disappointment in being thrown into a Battle Royal at Evolution but we got a fun tease for the match during last night's SmackDown Live.

When it was revealed that the women who don't have matches at Evolution will compete in a Battle Royal for the right to earn a future title opportunity, many of them reacted poorly to the news and took to social media to share their disappointment with the announcement. Regardless, with a number of single and tag team matches already confirmed, the bout is happening whether they like it or not.

While we got some pretty forgettable backstage interviews with the competitors on Monday night, the entire division ended up doing battle in the ring on SmackDown Live in a highly enjoyable brawl.

Asuka was the last woman standing but will that be the case on Sunday, especially with so many talented women from the past also involved? Time will tell on that front but WWE deserves some props for finding a place for these women, especially when common sense says that there was no way they would all be able to get matches, especially with the Mae Young Classic and NXT title on the line.
